This Change International Client has advised and negotiated some of the largest water, power, pipeline and overhead transmission line EPC contracts from tender stage to detailed contract. Additionally, this Firm has acted for large developers undertaking hotel, leisure, commercial, and residential projects, resulting in a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in relation to both building and engineering procurement, and the different types of FIDIC and hybrid contractual arrangements, as well as a range of bonds, guarantees and direct agreements. The Firm also represents clients in construction arbitrations and court litigation.

The role itself is also very exciting. As a Construction & Engineering Law Associate you will undertake challenging work along with like minded professionals in the team and advise clients.

Requirements:

• Admitted to the BAR or Law Society
• 2-3 years post qualification working practice (Ideally trained in Arabic Law and who has real and relevnt working experience in the Construction field)
• Educated to degree level LLM/LLB
• Fluent in Arabic and English

Technical Skills:

• Good drafting skills
• Proven analytical and problem solving ability
• Ability to identify legal issues out of comlex facts and technical details and offer both legal and commercial solutions
