This Magic Circle Change International client are looking for candidates with excellent securities and M& A expericence. The sucessful candidate will join the US Corporate Group and the majority of the work will have an international dimension and will include the largest and the most complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Handle a large number of private and SEC-registered debt and equity offerings
Acting on a wide range of restructuring transactions, de-mergers and spin-offs
Advising non-US clients on the US securities aspects of public M&A transactions
Advising non-US clients on preparation of SEC filings on a wide range of issues relating to ongoing compliance with US securities law
Acting for US and European companies and investment banks on equity and high yield debt transactions

Key Requirements

New York qualified with a top class academic record
High quality lawyer with strong technical and commercial background
Experience at a leading practice in London or the US
Have worked on high profile, complex securities and M&A transactions
Flexible and prepared to undertake secondments to our European or Asian offices
Language skills (Spanish, French, German, Mandarin) are helpful

Strong technical and commercial abilities
Able to work effectively as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers
Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
Able to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload
Be proactive and committed to providing an excellent service to our clients
