Pinsent Masons' Jay joins Scottish Government move to shore up data confidence
Rosemary Jay of Pinsent Masons was appointed last week by the Scottish Government to a panel charged with increasing public confidence in IT-enabled public services.
She will be part of a group of eight advisors tasked with developing a draft set of guiding principles for public bodies to ensure that they properly protect individuals’ privacy when handling their information.
Fraser McMillan, head of Pinsent Masons' Scottish offices, said: “Rosemary's appointment by the Scottish Government reflects her position as one of the foremost information law experts in the UK.”
