Harper Macleod LLP have raised over £42,000 in three separate fundraising events last weekend,
The fourth Great Wilderness Challenge Ball on September 13 at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow raised £40,000 for charities that included Children’s Hospice Association Scotland, CHILDREN 1ST, Highland Hospice, the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
On the same day, a group of 12 Harper Macleod partners and employees completed the 120k duathlon, First Monster in Inverness, a relay event involving a 10k run and 20k cycle. The 3 Harper Macleod teams successfully completed the course and raised over £1,000 for Save The Children.
Finally, Kris Totten, the firm’s IT Helpdesk Administrator, also took to his bike on Sunday in the annual Pedal for Scotland event. Kris cycled from Glasgow to Edinburgh to raise almost £1,000 for MS Scotland.
Harper Macleod Chief Executive, Martin Darroch who is responsible for the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme said, "In this our 20th anniversary year, we set ourselves the target of participating in at least 20 charity events. I’m proud that the enthusiasm and commitment of our people means that we will easily exceed this total.”
