Shepherd and Wedderburn tie up central Edinburgh acquisition

Shepherd and Wedderburn and DTZ  have completed the £18.5 million acquisition of city centre premises on Castle Street and George Street, Edinburgh on behalf of their clients CBRE Investors.

The site, at 25-35 Castle Street and 98-102 George Street is a centrally placed mixed use investment site of retail, restaurant and office space housing a range of high street names such as Cruise, The Pier and Pink.

Michael Henderson, a property partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn said: “This is an important deal, completed in a short timescale. It is one of the largest acquisitions in Edinburgh this year, which is significant given the unsettled market conditions and demonstrates confidence in well-let investments.

“The firm's involvement in this important city centre property deal further highlights Shepherd and Wedderburn's expertise in advising on some of the capital's most significant deals.”
