Beltrami & Co solicitor advocate Murray Macara has been appointed a Queen's Counsel .
Macara, who spoke at the SYLA criminal law conference last week on the subject of examination in chief, is one of only six current solicitor advocates in Scotland to have been appointed QC.
“It is very encouraging that the skills and talents of solicitors are being recognised at the highest level," said Richard Henderson, president of the Law Society.
"I’m delighted to congratulate Murray on his achievement and wish him all the very best for the future.”
