Mediation specialists Core Solutions Group have organised a series of events coordinated around the visit of Ken Cloke to Edinburgh next week.

Core describe Cloke as one of the world’s leading figures in the field of conflict resolution.

"Kenneth Cloke is a distinguished author, academic, mediator and conflict resolution strategist from California and currently President of Mediators Beyond Borders," Core said in a statement.

"His book “Mediating Dangerously” is regarded by many as a classic. It has been said that there is “no-one more deeply versed in conflict resolution, locally and globally, personally and professionally, privately and politically, than Ken”.

Among the event sorganised by Core are a Master Class for Mediators and the Core Conversation and Supper, at which Cloke will be in conversation with Core’s John Sturrock.

Core will also be hosting a special lunch with the Scottish Council for Development and Industry at which Ken Cloke and Charlie Woods will discuss conflict resolution for businesses in challenging times and the impact of mediation on economic development.
