Stewart heads up Glasgow office for HBJ

Alan Stewart, former managing partner at Burness, has been appointed by HBJ Gateley Wareing to head up its Glasgow office and "lead the firm’s development in Glasgow and the west coast".

“I am thrilled to have been asked to lead HBJ Gateley Wareing’s development in Glasgow and the west of Scotland. The firm has a great reputation, and I am optimistic that my enthusiasm and experience will allow me to contribute to the firm’s continuing success. A major factor in my decision to join was the firm’s clear commitment to strategic growth, in these difficult economic conditions,” he said.
Malcolm McPherson, senior partner at HBJ Gateley Wareing said he was delighted with Stewart's appointment.

"We have long been aware of Alan’s considerable experience and proven track record, and I am confident that his knowledge of the west coast will be crucial in achieving our objectives; supporting our client base and developing our reputation as trusted legal advisors.”
