HBJ Gateley Wareing have recruited Mike Fitzgerald as "real estate" [sic] partner from Dundas and Wilson.
At Dundas and Wilson, Fitzgerald was involved in the Edinburgh Tram project, redevelopment of SECC and the acquisition, forward funding and development of the former STV studios at Cowcaddens, Glasgow.
“This is an exciting opportunity. I have been looking forward to joining the team and working with Miles Ede, who heads up the real estate team, for some time now," he said.
"The firm’s experience is second to none and combined with commercial astuteness and good staff camaraderie, makes it a great firm to join. Its entrepreneurial and fresh approach to business offers a number of opportunities as the firm continues to strengthen its Scottish presence.”
Malcolm McPherson, senior partner at HBJ Gateley Wareing said Fitzgerald was a welcome addition to the firm's Scottish practice.
“His appointment follows the hire of two Scottish corporate partners and the recent appointment of two real estate partners in our London office. These appointments reinforce our commitment to growth,” he said.
