Semple Fraser is to appoint seven trainees this month, most of whom join the firm after working through it summer placement scheme.

"We already have an appreciation of their capability and enthusiasm. Our focus on developing our staff, along with our unique approach to our trainee scheme, will ensure that as the economy moves out of recession, we will remain to be in the best position to offer clients the high quality expert service they have come to expect from Semple Fraser," said managing partner Alister Fraser.

The seven trainees will occupy fixed seats during their training.
