Former Law Society Chief Executive Douglas Mill and Rebeccas Davies, the driving force behind the former Scottish Legal Awards, have joined forces as a training team.
Mill has been operating as an independent consultant since stepping down from the Chief Executive's role last year, and is currently the Director of Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. Rebecca Davies is well known in practices across Scotland for her pivotal role in setting up and running the Scottish Legal Awards which ran until 2008.
The two are launching a partnership as trainers with an all day CPD event taking place at Stirling Management Centre on 31 October. Mill says Rebecca's style and energy complements his experience perfectly and provides a unique training offering.
"Rebecca's experience, energy and enthusiasm are refreshing and she has a lot to offer the legal profession. I'm sure that our complimentary skills and backgrounds will combine perfectly in presentation," he said.
Davies, adds that leading a successful law firm takes much more than an in depth knowledge of law.
"That's why I'm using state of the art tools and techniques to help partners understand the importance of leadership, communication and business development," she says.
"Teaming up with Douglas Mill gives the additional strategic framework for partners on how to structure their businesses and plan for the future. Its an exceptionally powerful combination of training and coaching that we can offer.'
Details of the event and online booking can be found here.
