The GSPC has launched the first property search tool in Scotland for mobile telephones. The GSPC application renders their 8,000 strong catalogue directly accessible through the technology.

The tool allows users to search for property for sale by area, price range and number of bedrooms and allows images of the properties and location maps to be viewed.

"GSPC is responding to the needs of existing users and anticipating the needs of future users in launching applications that allow people to search for homes from wherever they are and in the way that is most convenient for them,” said Bill Scouller, Chief Executive of GSPC.

However the application is not universally available to be used on all third generation mobile phones, and can only be used on phone products from a single company.
