The annual Scottish Young Lawyers' Association Criminal Day Conference takes place in Glasgow on Saturday 28 November.

The event, last year held in Edinburgh, will cover the new sexual offences bill, cross-examination and jury speeches. 

Speakers included Mike Jones QC who will be discussing the effective eliciting of evidence from expert witnesses, Mungo Bovey QC speaking on mental health, Solicitor Advocates John Scott, Gary McAteer, Krista Johnston and Divisional Procurator Fiscal in Glasgow, Shona Barrie. 

The day will be chaired by solicitor Martha Rafferty.
