Terra Firma boosted by arrival of Government counsel
Standing Junior Counsel to the Scottish Government Maurice O’Carroll has joined Terra Firma advocates' chambers, together with civil law practitioner Colin Mackenzie.
O Carroll has been Government counsel since 2003. He is also a legal associate to the Royal Town Planning Institute and "ad hoc" advocate depute for the Crown Office.
"Their considerable experience and expertise make them extremely valuable additions to the Chambers," said Gordon Steele QC, Chairman of Terra Firma Chambers.
"In addition, their arrival brings the total number of members of Terra Firma to 40, which is a substantial increase from when the Chambers launched last year and illustrates the appeal of the Chambers to members of the Scottish Bar.”
