Perthshire Propertry Centre says market has turned the corner

The Perthshire Solicitors Property Centre sold 114 properties in October,  with the total value in excess of £20 million -a value the PSPC say exceeds the entire value sold during the first three months of the year.

The PSPC also say the average sales price has risen in the last quarter.

“We are delighted to announce a particularly striking set of statistics given the dire situation blighting the entire country’s property market until now," said Anne Begg, a PSPC Manager.

"Looking at the last three months, we can see evidence of the first upward trend this year. The figures have been in the red for the whole year up until August, with January 2009 being the worst month, but we’ve pulled ourselves out of it and are now back in the black which suggest that the market is definitely over the worst and showing strong signs of stabilising.”
