Harper Macleod announce Highland energy conference
Harper Macleod’s Energy & Renewables Practice Group have inaugurated the first Scottish Highland Renewable Energy Conference which takes place in Inverness next month.
The purpose of the event is to “provide an understanding of how renewables work and will examine the planning and development considerations; installation and funding issues; grid connectivity and advice surrounding maximising returns for the landowner, developer and the community,” the firm said, announcing the event.
“Originally targeted at Highland landowners, the recognised the need to produce an event that would bring together industry specialists such as turbine manufacturers and land agents, professional advisers including accountants and surveyors and rural landowners looking to diversify,” it added.
Harper Macleod are recognised in the 2009 edition of the Legal 500 as an “energy specialist”.
