Thomas Ward, temporary Sheriff and Solicitor Advocate with Blair and Bryden has been appointed as a resident sheriff in Dunoon by the Judicial Appointments Board.
The Scottish Government, announcing the apointmetn said Ward graduated from the University of Dundee in 1975 with an LLB (Hons). He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1977 and as a Solicitor Advocate in 1995. He was a temporary sheriff from 1991-2000 and was appointed as a part-time sheriff in 2006. He is also a part-time Tribunal Judge, Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, and a part-time Immigration Judge.
