TheFirmOnline nominated for Golden Twit Award

The Firm magazine's Twitter stream 'The FirmOnline' has been nominated for The Golden Twit Awards, the only UK award scheme which aims to recognise Twitter as a media, business and marketing tool.

The awards are now in their second year. Previous winners include The Guardian, Comparethemeerkat and Channel Four. Awards are given in categories ranging from Business to Business, Corporate Individual, Information Service, Writing and Weird.

"Whilst we wouldn't necessarily want to live up to the monicker, we're delighted to be in the frame for a Golden Twit," said the Firm's editor, Steven Raeburn.

"Twitter has been a great boost to The Firm. We use the medium to break and circulate news, connect with other people in the legal arena, make new business contacts and of course, find out what Wiliam Shatner has been up to."

The winners will be announced in November.
