Legal Complaints Comissioner appointed to succeed Dunion in FOI role
Rosemary Agnew, the Chief Executive of the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission has been recommended for appointment by the Scottish Parliament as the new Scottish Information Commissioner.
The appointment will be formalised by The Queen and she weill succeed Kevin Dunion during April.
The Scottish Government said in a statement that Mrs Agnew, who previously worked for the Local Government Ombudsman "has been committed to the principles of accountability and transparency" throughout her career.
No details have been provided about who will succeed her at the Scottish LEgal Complaints Commission.
