New Law Awards launched to celebrate blood, sweat and tears

The blood, sweat and tears expounded by Scotland\'s legal firms is set to be rewarded as The Firm launches the most comprehensive legal awards Scotland has ever seen.
The awards scheme comes at a time when Scotland\'s legal firms are increasingly looking to diversify their services into many other practice areas and competition between firms is at its most ferocious ever. Entry forms to the award scheme will be sent out in the coming weeks to all of Scotland\'s legal firms and a judging panel of highly respected legal brains is currently being put together, details of which will follow in the March issue of The Firm.

The Law Awards categories will include:

- Law Firm of the Year (75+ fee earners)
- Law Firm of the Year (up to 75 fee earners)
- Sole Practitioner of the Year
- Managing Partner of the Year
- Young Gun Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
