"World's End" murders to be retried under two trials law
The infamous "World's End" murder case is to be the first case to be tried again following the introduction of the law permitting a subsequent prosecution to be raised.
The case was heard under previous proceedings in 2007, some thirty years after Helen Scott and Christine Eadie died in 1977.
The Crown Office has confirmed that Angus Sinclair is to face trial for their murder.
