Jason Beltrami and Aamer Anwar have launched a new criminal law firm called Beltrami Anwar.
As of the beginning of this month the firm Beltrami Berlow ceases to operate, with partner Matthew Berlow departing to launch a separate operation.
Beltrami Anwar will be headed by the two partners and the key staff from Beltrami Berlow will be retained. The firm will also continue to operate from the Carlton Place office, next to Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Anwar remained tight-lipped on the subject of Matthew Berlow, refusing to comment on his plans. In its five year history Beltrami Berlow had grown to be one of Scotland’s busiest practices.
Aamer Anwar joined the firm in 2001 and has in that time secured some of the highest profile cases in Scotland for the firm.
