Golds moves to new office after taking on 100 staff during 2003

Glasgow-based firm Golds Solicitors has relocated to new premises after 12 months of immense growth, which has seen the firm\'s staff numbers increase by over 100.
For some time the firm had been looking for new offices to house its expanding team and finally secured a deal to move out of three traditional buildings in Newton Terrace and take sole occupation of the six-floor Stewart House situated on Elderslie Street, close to Charing Cross.
The building has recently undergone major redevelopment to make it into a modern open plan working space. The pace of expansion has also seen the firm take two additional floors in Scottish Legal House, in nearby North Street, which now houses its litigation and insurance teams.
This investment also comes hot on the heels of Golds\' move into the North West of England by opening an office in Manchester in October, which is now home to 25 staff.
Speaking of the move, Senior Partner Stephen Gold said: "It\'s been an exhausting, but exciting year. We\'re thinking of putting \'sponsored by Pickfords\' on our notepaper, but we\'re delighted to have secured the flexible space that a technology-based business like ours needs. Newton Terrace served us well, but in every way we had outgrown it.
"We\'ve been able to organise our staff much more effectively, with everyone working together, instead of being in different \'boxes\' as we were forced to do before. People enjoy the buzz and of course it\'s much easier now for the partners and senior managers to get round and talk to people. I think also our staff enjoy and feel secure being part of a business that is on the move in more ways than one.
"Our new buildings give us what we need, but they\'re not \'flash\', which was important to us. We need to be seen to be investing in a way that makes us better and more efficient, not in ego trips."
