One of the City\'s leading EU and Competition lawyers has been appointed as a Partner at Dundas & Wilson.
The appointment of Tom Usher to the partnership takes Dundas & Wilson\'s tally of lateral hires in the last four months to 16, a figure that means the firm now employs 65 Partners.
Usher will take up his new role in April and joins the firm from S J Berwin in London, where he played a major role in establishing the EU and Competition department as one of the country\'s leading departments in that area.
Usher\'s EU and Competition team at S J Berwin was twice voted "Team of the Year" at the annual Legal Business Awards.
When he arrives, Usher will be based at Dundas & Wilson\'s Edinburgh offices, where he will spearhead the firm\'s development in the EU and Competition arena.

Usher joins shortly after Lindy Patterson joined to head up the Construction department, one of the highest profile moves in 2003.
