Recently rebranded firm McGrigors has advised on the £23.5m investment sale of the Scottish Gas Headquarters at Granton, part of the Edinburgh Waterfront development.
Handling the sale to an overseas investment company on behalf of SecondSite property were McGrigors’ Real Estate Partner Richard Linton and Solicitors Russell Munro and Tim Dale and Partner with the Planning Team, Jacqueline Harris. CB Richard Ellis has also been involved in the deal and acted for SecondSite in leasing and selling the development, which houses 1,800 Scottish Gas employees.
McGrigors has also acted for Cyclacel Ltd, a leading cancer therapeutics company, on its £21.3m financing by a global syndicate, which included 20 institutional investors from Europe, the Far East and the USA.
