Warners has announced eight senior appointments, all at partner and associate level, as it looks to maintain its growth drive in 2007.
Promoted to partner status are Ross Kennedy in the commercial department, while David Wilson joins the firm from Bonar MacKenzie, where he spent 19 years, as a litigation partner.
The firm\'s new associates are residential lawyer Angela McFarlane, a former partner at The PSM Law Group in Dunfermline; Laura Mathewson, previously an associate at VMH LLP; Douglas Williamson, joins from Robson McLean where he was an associate; Debbie McCathie, formerly an associate with Morton Fraser, and Beverley Cottrell, who was an associate previously with Tods Murray.
There is also an internal associate promotion in the form of Shuiken Chan in the litigation team.
Warners has doubled in size in the last three years, primarily through the growth in the firms commercial and residential property divisions.
Bob Clephane, the Executive Partner who is overseeing the firm\'s business development, said the new appointments aim to ensure Warners remains firmly focussed on a strategy to grow its position in the marketplace and continue to offer the highest levels of customer service.
