MacRoberts builds construction team with new partner
MacRoberts has strengthened its market-leading construction practice with the appointment of Mike Barlow as a partner. Barlow, whose expertise is in strong demand from funders, developers, employers and contractors, has been an senior associate with the firm specialising in building contracts, development agreements, collateral warranties, professional appointments, novation agreements, bonds and guarantees. Prior to gaining a Masters Degree in Construction Law at Strathclyde, Barlow spent five years in the construction sector negotiating contracts for gas turbine power stations in the UK, the Far East, the Middle East and South America. Since joining MacRoberts he has advised on a wide range of contracts in the construction sector, including schools, hospitals, major manufacturing facilities, office premises, distribution centres and other facilities.
