A 36 year old man has been arrested today (Tuesday) in connection with an indecent assault in the Langside area in April 3rd.

The assault had been widely reported following the later death of Moira Jones in the vicinity of the earlier attack, after her body was found in Queens Park on 29 May.  A massive police effort has been mobilised in an effort to reassure the public.

A 43 year old woman had allegedly been indecently assaulted near to Langside Road, Queens Park, Glasgow.

A full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal following the arrest.
